I'm the GIS Specialist/Map Cataloger at the UC Berkeley Earth Sciences and Map Library. I currently support desktop GIS, web-based mapping, and cartographic research at the library. I also catalog paper maps and geospatial data. My academic background is in library science, history, and literature.
Why You Joined the Lab:
I'm interested in finding new ways the map collection can support the work of all scholars on campus and beyond. Map libraries have vast amounts of geospatial data and content that can be unlocked in a reusable manner, especially with regard to humanities research.
