Working Group in Ancient Philosophy
The Working Group in Ancient Philosophy fosters the exchange of ideas between humanists workings in classics and in philosophy.
The Working Group in Ancient Philosophy has been in existence at UC Berkeley since 2001. Its main objective is to foster the interdisciplinary exchange between humanists working in Classics and in Philosophy. The group features talks by distinguished scholars from both fields, but it also provides a forum for graduate students from UC Berkeley to present their work in progress. In addition, it regularly meets to read and discuss Ancient philosophical texts in the original language.
