Mukurtu gives back to Drupal community
We are excited to say that Mukurtu is deep into development and one of the exciting things about using Drupal 7 is that we are part of a huge community of developers and users. At Mukurtu we are dedicated to creating a tool that works to satisfy the unique needs of indigenous communities--needs that don't always map onto systems built with Western ideals in mind.

Memorandum of Understanding: Mukurtu and Smallbean
We are pleased to announce that we have signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Smallbean Inc., a non-profit organization whose aim is to close the technology gap in the developing world while empowering at-risk communities to document and preserve their local languages and cultures via the operation of its Citizen Archivist Project.
