Bio:
Virginia Kuhn serves as Associate Director of the Institute for Multimedia Literacy, and Assistant Professor in the School of Cinematic Arts at USC. She created one of the first digital dissertations in the US in 2005, challenging copyright and archiving conventions. She directs the IML's Honors in Multimedia Scholarship program and teaches an array of graduate and undergraduate course in new media. Kuhn also serves on the editorial board of Kairos: Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy, Pre/Text: Journal of Rhetorical Theory and the Journal of Interactive Technology and Pedagogy and serves as Co-chair of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies special interest group on Media Literacy and Pedagogical Outreach.
