Bio:
I have been a visiting student researcher in the department of History of UC Berkeley since September 2011. I have a master of philosophy, and a master of social sciences (history, sociology and anthropology). My research interests focus on the relationship between science practices and the political space within the International Organizations. For my thesis so far, I have been studying a small group of social scientists working under the supervision of Albert Thomas, the director of the International Labor Organization from 1919 to 1932. I have been wondering to what extent the political involvement of these scholars impacted on their own scientific work.
