Why You Joined the Lab:
I graduated from UC Berkeley's English Dept and wanted to reconnect with scholars at Berkeley; I am currently writing about the intersection of drug culture and literary culture in the 1960s and 1970s. My project includes Aldous Huxley, the Harvard Psilocybin Project, Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, R. D. Laing, the Weather Underground, the Living Theatre Company, Fluxus, Primal Scream therapy, EST, the Cockettes, and others.
