The Dissertation Workshop is designed to help graduate students strengthen their dissertation projects and improve their chances of funding, as well as to facilitate UC-wide, interdisciplinary networking among graduate students and faculty across the disciplines in African Studies.  The workshop will provide an opportunity for ten graduate students to present their current dissertation research proposals (or other work) and receive critical feedback on their projects from fellow graduate students and a group of UC faculty
