Colloquium in the Studies of Music
Our lunchtime meetings, hosted in the music department, offer a weekly forum for graduate students engaged with music-affiliated topics to present their research before an audience of peers and faculty. With our wide range of topics and approaches we aim to foster closer dialogue between musicology, ethnomusicology and sound studies at the graduate level. Hoping to dispell the myth that particular musical training is required to talk meaningfully about music in culture and society, we also welcome colleagues from other fields as discussants.
