We are excited to say that Mukurtu is deep into development and one of the exciting things about using Drupal 7 is that we are part of a huge community of developers and users. At Mukurtu we are dedicated to creating a tool that works to satisfy the unique needs of indigenous communities--needs that don't always map onto systems built with Western ideals in mind. The fantastic Owen Barton at CivicActions has created two updates to Drupal 7 that give back to the community and will help others who are adapting Drupal 7 to their unique needs.
