GMB Liturgical Calendar

The Graduate Medievalists at Berkeley (GMB) Liturgical Calendar compiles yearly deadlines and events considered by GMB members or advisors to be high-priority.

Deadlines and events are marked by keyword according to their relevance to particular fields.  The Townsend Center is currently developing a filter to allow you to view only those deadlines relevant to your field.

Anyone can view the Liturgical Calendar.  But the GMB strongly recommends that you create a Login ID (follow the link at the top right of this page), and join the "GMB Liturgical Calendar" project.  If you do, you'll get the following privileges:

1. You can sign up for automatic email reminders of upcoming deadlines.  At the bottom of every event description, there is a link to "more."  The link will take you to the event's stable page -- at the bottom of that page, you can "sign up" for the event.  Enter your email address under "Name."

2. You can add your own events.  This calendar will only be effective if it works collaboratively: next time you get a CFP or medieval event announcement by email, navigate to this page; click on "Event Listings" (at the top right of this page), and you'll see a "Create Event" form.  From there, just cut and paste the description from your email, then add an appropriate title and date.  For CFP announcements, PLEASE put the deadline, not the date of the conference, as your event date.  Save changes, and you're done.
